Job Summary
PA/Caregiver role for married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents living on-campus in a student home. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and maintaining campus safety. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Benefits include per-person salary of $44,768 (approx. $168,000 total per couple with housing/meals and benefits), relocation assistance, comprehensive insurance, retirement options, paid time off, and paid training. Requires experience with youth, high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a legally married two-spouse partnership for at least two years. Both spouses must apply separately to be considered.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Two-year marriage minimum
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
