Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) reside in on-campus student homes to provide care, supervision, and guidance for ~8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning/participating in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement into a permanent student-home assignment. Benefits include a salary per person ($44,768) plus comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance. Requires two spouses to complete individual applications; on-campus housing provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
