Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents needed at Milton Hershey School to live in on-campus student homes and supervise a group of 8–13 students. The role requires a two-person, married-couple team to provide care, guidance, supervision, and support, including daily supervision, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Initial duties involve nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement into a single student-home assignment. Benefits include salary per person (~$44,768) with comprehensive health and retirement options, relocation assistance, paid training, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role-model responsibilities
- Willingness to complete individual employment applications for consideration
