Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents live on-campus in Hershey, PA, supervising approximately 813 students in on-campus homes. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, with a career path from nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off toward a Placed Houseparent role for a consistent student home. Benefits include salary per person ($44,768) with total compensation around $168k per couple, relocation assistance and paid training, comprehensive health plans, retirement savings, paid time off, and on-campus housing and meals while on duty.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
