Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents will reside on-campus in a student home in Hershey, PA, supervising and mentoring a group of 8–13 students, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to a Placed Houseparent living in the same student home. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- ability to lift to 50 lbs
- comfort leading students in devotions and chapel
- no alcohol on duty
- smoke-free campus
- weapon-free campus
- two spouses must complete individual applications
- married for at least two years
- both spouses age 27 or older
- no more than three dependent children in home
- ability to become certified to drive student home vans
