Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents for Milton Hershey School. A two-person, married-couple role in on-campus student homes, residing with and supervising 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from nine days on/three off to a Placed Houseparent assignment with the same students. Benefits include salary per person, comprehensive health benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and PTO. Requires a High School diploma or GED, U.S. drivers license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and adherence to a smoke-free/weapon-free campus; couples must apply individually and both spouses must meet criteria.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. drivers license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role-modeling for students
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Desire to lead students in devotions and Chapel services
