Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) to reside on Milton Hershey School campus in student homes, providing supervision, mentorship, medications administration, transportation to activities, development and religious activities, budgeting, and household reporting for a group of 8–13 students. Initially nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement into a stable student-home assignment. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and both spouses must be legally married for at least two years and be at least 27 years old; relocation assistance and paid training provided; benefits include medical/dental/vision, retirement savings, PTO, and free housing. Two-person role with on-campus housing and responsibilities spanning daily supervision, scheduling, devotions, Chapel attendance, and family-like care.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
Additional Requirements
- Two-person married couple required
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds
