Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents live on-campus in student homes at Milton Hershey School, supervising and mentoring around 8–13 students, administering medications, driving to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing household budgeting and reporting. The role starts with nine days on duty followed by three off, with eventual placement as a consistent houseparent for a specific student home; relocation with paid training is provided as part of the benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
