Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School located on campus in Hershey, PA. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship of a group of 8–13 students, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from a rotating nine-day-on/three-days-off schedule to a placed houseparent with a consistent student home. Requires on-campus living with students, on-site housing, and a commitment to a faith-informed, smoke- and weapon-free campus; relocation assistance and paid training provided. Both spouses must apply individually and be legally married for at least two years, with a minimum age of 27 for each spouse, and meet other listed qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Comfort leading students in devotions and Chapel services
