Job Summary
Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) reside in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School, supervising 8–13 students, providing care, mentorship, daily routines, medication administration, and transportation for activities. Responsibilities include supervising, planning and engaging in development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from a nine-days-on/three-days-off schedule to a placed houseparent role living with the same student group. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license and driving-certification ability, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; two-year marriage minimum for both spouses, with both aged 27+.
Required Qualifications

- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; acts as role models for students
- Two-person role for couples; must complete individual applications
