Job Summary
Two-person on-campus Houseparent role in Hershey, PA, for a married couple to reside in student homes and provide supervision, guidance, and care for 8–13 students; duties include daily supervision, medication administration, transportation to activities, planning and engaging in development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, budgeting and reporting, with a schedule starting nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, and eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living with the same student group; benefits include salary per person with total compensation for the couple, relocation assistance, comprehensive medical/dental/vision, retirement options, paid time off, and training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver\'s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Proselytizing prohibition for Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
