Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes in Hershey, PA, providing care, mentorship, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with a nine-on/three-off schedule and transitions to a Placed Houseparent living arrangement with the same group of students. Both spouses must be legally married for at least two years, be age 27+, and complete individual applications. Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
