Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus in student homes and provide care, supervision, and mentorship for a group of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, conducting daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing household budgeting and reporting, and transitioning to a placed houseparent role with the same group of students. The role requires a legally married couple (both spouses) with at least two years of marriage, both ages 27 or older, and High School diploma or GED; valid U.S. driver's license; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; and willingness for relocation assistance and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
