Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on campus to supervise and mentor a group of approximately 8–13 students in a family-like home, providing care, supervision, and guidance; responsibilities include administering medications, transporting students to activities, leading daily devotions and chapel, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, overseeing household routines and budgeting, and transitioning from nine-on/three-off duty to a placed houseparent with ongoing responsibilities within the student home.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
