Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents role at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in on-campus student homes to supervise, mentor, and support 8–13 students, manage household routines and medications, transport students to activities, lead daily devotions and chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition to a placed houseparent where they live with the same student group. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with relocation assistance and paid training provided. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke- and weapon-free campus; both spouses must apply and be age 27+ to be considered.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with youth
- Two-person role for couples
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children in the home
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs

- Must be legally married for at least two years
