Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents on Milton Hershey School campus in Hershey, PA. A two-person, married couple resides in on-campus student homes and provides care, supervision, guidance, and support for groups of 8–13 students, including supervising, mentoring, administering medications, transporting to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, and handling budgeting/reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person ($44,768) with total compensation around $168,000 per couple, relocation assistance and paid training, comprehensive insurance, retirement benefits, and paid time off. Requires two-year-married status for both spouses, age 27+, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, high school diploma or GED, and experience with youth; willingness to live on campus and to follow campus guidelines on a weapon-free, smoke-free environment and Judeo-Christian chapels.
