Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent roles on a residential campus: married couples reside in on-campus student homes, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance to a group of approximately 8–13 students; responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions, and managing household budgeting and reporting. Initially, duties cover multiple student homes with a nine-on/three-off schedule, then transition to a fixed student-home assignment. Must meet on-campus living requirements, hold a valid driver’s license, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and maintain a smoke-free and weapon-free environment; couples must complete individual applications for consideration. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided; salary is quoted per person with total compensation for the couple including housing and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
- No alcohol permitted on duty
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Two-person employment applications required (both spouses)
- Ability to reside on-campus housing and supervise students
