Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) reside in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School to supervise and mentor a group of approximately 813 students, provide care, administer medications, drive students to activities, and lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. Responsibilities include overseeing household routines, budgeting and reporting, and supporting students’ academic, emotional, and social development. The schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a dedicated student home. Compensation includes per-person salary plus comprehensive benefits and relocation/training support.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-year married for consideration
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role-model expectations
- Ability to drive student home vans
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Willingness to reside in on-campus homes and supervise students

- Must be legally married for at least two years
