Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents for Milton Hershey School: a two-person, legally married couple will reside in on-campus student homes, supervising 8–13 students, coordinating daily routines, medications, driving to activities, leading devotions and chapel, budgeting, and reporting. The role begins with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule and may transition to a placed Houseparent. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and both spouses must be 27+ with at least two years of marriage; relocation assistance and paid training are provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
