Job Summary
Milton Hershey School seeks a two-person married couple to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents on campus, residing in student homes to provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from a nine-on/three-off schedule to a placed houseparent arrangement living with the same group of students. Includes relocation assistance, paid training, comprehensive benefits, and housing/meals while on duty.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role model for students
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
