Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus in Hershey, PA, residing in on-campus student homes to supervise and mentor a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with the same students. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are provided; high school diploma or GED required; both spouses must be age 27 or older and legally married for at least two years, and must complete individual applications.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with youth
- Two-person role for couples
- Age 27+ for both spouses
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
