Job Summary
PA/Caregiver role for married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents on Milton Hershey School campus in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in on-campus homes, provide supervision, mentorship, and daily care for 8–13 students, manage household routines, medications, transportation to activities, and lead daily devotions and chapel; eventually transition to a placed houseparent with a stable, same-home assignment. Responsibilities include supervising students, planning activities, budgeting and reporting, and supporting student development. Benefits include salary per person ($44,768), comprehensive medical/dental/vision, retirement options, relocation assistance, paid training, and paid time off. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to pass driving certification, and a two-year married status with both spouses at least 27 years old. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and adhere to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus, with restrictions on alcohol and pet limits. Both spouses must submit individual employment applications for consideration.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Pet limitations (fish and one dog of approved breeds)
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role-model duties for students
- Willingness to relocate to on-campus housing and participate in paid training
- Complete individual employment applications for both spouses
