Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on-campus in student homes, provide care, supervision, and activities for 8–13 students, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead daily devotions and chapel attendance, oversee budgeting and reporting, with a nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle transitioning to a steady home assignment. Benefits include housing, meals on duty, comprehensive insurance, retirement options, relocation assistance, and paid training. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a two-person married couple committed for at least two years with both spouses applying individually.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
