Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents in Parma Heights, OH, a two-person married couple role to reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, supervision, and guidance for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and household reporting, with an initial nine-days-on/three-days-off work cycle and eventual placement in a fixed home.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse requirement: both spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
Additional Requirements
- Must be part of a two-person married couple team
- On-campus residence requirement for both spouses
- No alcohol permitted while on duty
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Two-person role must be fulfilled by a legally married couple
