Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (a two-person, married-couple role) reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement into a single, consistent student-home assignment. Benefits include salary per person, comprehensive insurance, relocation assistance, paid training, and PTO. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free, and alcohol-free campus environment; both spouses must apply individually for consideration.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for married couples
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children reside in the student home
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
