Job Summary
Two-person married couple to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. On-campus living with nine days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement as Houseparents living with the same group of students. Requires HS diploma/GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and adherence to a smoke- and weapon-free campus; both spouses must complete individual applications. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. drivers license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
