Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married-couple role) at Milton Hershey School reside in on-campus student homes to mentor and supervise 8–13 students, manage routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead devotions and Chapel attendance, and oversee budgeting and reporting. The position starts with a nine-on, three-off duty cycle and transitions to a placed Houseparent role living with the same student group in a dedicated home. Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
