Job Summary
Two-person, on-campus Flex Houseparents role to reside in student homes and provide care, oversight, and mentorship for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, routine management, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Initially 9 days on/3 days off, with eventual placement in a single student home. Includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits; requires married couple with at least two years of marriage, both spouses aged 27+, and ability to work in a smoke-free, weapon-free campus with limited pets.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-spouse two-year marriage requirement
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role-model expectations
