Job Summary
Milton Hershey School seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents in on-campus student homes, supervising and mentoring groups of 8–13 students, administering medications, driving to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, and managing household routines and reporting. The role begins with a nine-on, three-off cycle and progresses to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Salary is per person (approximately $44,768) with comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, willingness to obtain van certification, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a two-person, legally married-for-at-least-two-years partnership for consideration. Both spouses must apply individually; expected commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus and adherence to Judeo-Christian chapel attendance.
Required Qualifications

- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
