Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes to provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting and engaging students in activities, leading devotions and chapel, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from nine-days-on/three-days-off to a placed houseparent role with continued close student home partnership. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Two-year minimum marriage duration? (stated as two spouses must be legally married for at least two years)
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
