Job Summary
PA/Caregiver role for married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents located on an on-campus student home. Couples reside in student homes, provide care, supervision, mentorship, and support for approximately 8–13 students, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan developmental/recreational activities, lead daily devotions, and oversee budgeting and reporting. The role transitions from Flex Houseparents to Placed Houseparents, with a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, and includes relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and paid training. Qualifications include experience with youth, being legally married for at least two years, both spouses aged 27+, high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and ability to lead devotional activities within a smoke-/weapon-free campus.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel (proselytizing prohibited)
- No alcohol on duty
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Pet restrictions: fish and one dog of approved breeds
- Commitment to on-campus living environment
- Ability to pass training and certification requirements
- Willingness to reside on-campus with students
- Full-time schedule including nine days on / three days off (Flex Houseparent)
- Relocation assistance and paid training provided
