PA/Caregiver

Two-person married couple Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, managing household routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with a nine-on/three-off schedule, eventually transitioning to a placed houseparent living with the same student group. Benefits include a salary of $44,768 per person (~$168,000 total per couple with housing/benefits), comprehensive medical/dental/vision, retirement options, relocation assistance, paid training, and designated PTO. Qualifications include youth-work experience, legal marriage of both spouses for at least two years, age 27 or older for both spouses, driver’s license with ability to become certified to drive student vans, high school diploma or GED, ability to lift 50 lbs, and comfort leading devotions and accompanying students to religious services on a smoke- and weapon-free campus.
