Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance to approximately 813 students residing in on-campus homes. Manage household routines, administer medications, and oversee budgeting and reporting. Drive students to activities and lead developmental, recreational, and devotional programs, including accompanying them to Sunday Chapel. This full-time role involves a rotating schedule of nine consecutive duty days followed by three days off, with an eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent position. Couples must be legally married for at least two years, with both spouses aged 27 or older, and must hold a valid U.S. driver's license. Salary is $46,917 per person, including free housing and meals while on duty.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
- Valid U.S. drivers license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
