Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) live on campus at Milton Hershey School and provide supervision, mentorship, and care for 8–13 students in a family-like home. Responsibilities include daily supervision, medication administration, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions, and attending Sunday Chapel. The role starts with a nine days-on, three days-off schedule across multiple student homes and transitions to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
