Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents reside on an on-campus student home to supervise 8–13 students, provide care, guidance, supervision, and support, and engage in activities to foster academic, emotional, and social development. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with a nine-on / three-off schedule across multiple student homes and transitions to a Placed Houseparent living with the same student group. Benefits include salary per person, comprehensive health benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and PTO. Both spouses must complete individual applications for consideration.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse, married for at least two years
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism

- Desire to lead daily devotions and accompany students to chapel
