Job Summary
Two-person, married-couple Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on campus at Milton Hershey School to supervise and support 8–13 students in an on-site home. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, medication administration, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel attendance, budgeting and household reporting. Initial schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a single student home. Benefits include salary per person (~$44,768) with comprehensive health and retirement options, relocation assistance, paid training, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse married couple requirement for consideration
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; ability to serve as role models for students
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
