Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple) reside on-campus in student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and coordinating with the student home. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed Houseparent role living and working with the same group of students. Location hint: Eaton Estates, OH. Benefits include salary per person ($44,768) plus comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse role
- Legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses aged 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; ability to be role models
- Residence on-campus in a student home with approximately 8–13 students
