Job Summary
Two-person full-time Flex Houseparent role: house together with a group of 8–13 students in on-campus homes, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance. Responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from initial housing to a placed houseparent arrangement. Must have youth experience, be legally married for at least two years, both spouses age 27+, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Requires a valid U.S. driver’s license and the ability to become certified to drive student vans. On-campus housing is provided with benefits including relocation assistance and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and attending Sunday Chapel
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for married couple (must be legally married for at least two years)
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Proven integrity and professionalism
