Job Summary
Two-person, on-campus live-in Houseparent/Caregiver role at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in student homes, provide care and supervision for 8–13 students, manage routines, administer medications, drive to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions, and coordinate budgeting and reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group. Benefits include salary per person with total compensation for a couple, comprehensive insurance, retirement options, relocation assistance, and paid time off. Requires high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and suitability to work in a smoke-free, weapon-free campus environment; both spouses must apply individually and be at least 27 years old.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
