Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus to care for ~8–13 students, providing supervision, mentorship, medications administration, and activity planning. Responsibilities include driving students to activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and creating a structured, family-like home environment. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a single student home. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are provided; both spouses must complete individual applications for consideration.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse, two-year-married requirement
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
Additional Requirements
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Pet restrictions: fish and one dog of approved breeds only
