Job Summary
Two-person, married-couple Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School on campus in Hershey, PA (on-campus homes). Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions, and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel. The role starts with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule and may transition to a Placed Houseparent living/working with the same group of students. Benefits include a per-person salary of $44,768 (approximately $168,000 per couple), comprehensive health benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and PTO. The position requires a two-year-married couple, both spouses 27+, and the ability to lift 50 lbs., with a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
