Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents living on campus to care for a group of 8–13 students in a family-like home environment. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from a nine-on/three-off schedule to a placed home with a consistent student group. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; both spouses must complete individual applications for consideration.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-spouse role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
