Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role on a residential campus: married couples live in on-campus student homes (8–13 students per home), provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care; responsibilities include administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting; initial schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent in the same student home; relocation assistance and paid training provided; benefits include health insurance, retirement options, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Chapel services (Judeo-Christian context)
