Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple) reside on-campus in student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide care, guidance, and supervision, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition from nine-days-on/three-days-off schedule to a placed houseparent role. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, developing routines, engaging students in developmental and recreational activities, and ensuring student wellness and safety.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Two-year marriage requirement for both spouses
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
Additional Requirements
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
