Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes and supervise 8–13 students, providing care, guidance, supervision, and activities. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from Flex to Placed Houseparent while living with the same group of students.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
