Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on-campus in student homes, supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, administering medications, driving to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role starts with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule and transitions to a placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Must complete individual employment applications
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Proselytizing prohibited in daily devotions and Chapel services
