Job Summary
Two-person married couple required as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School located in on-campus student homes in Hershey, PA. Split duties include supervising 8–13 students, mentorship, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing household routines, and budget reporting. The role begins with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule, with potential transition to a Placed Houseparent while living with the same group of students. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided, along with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
