Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on-campus in student homes, provide care and supervision for 8–13 students, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead daily devotions and Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition from nine days on / three off to a placed houseparent role. Benefits include salary per person, relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, paid time off, and training. Requires two-spouse application process for consideration; both spouses must complete individual applications and meet age and residency requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for married couple
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Proven integrity and professionalism
- Comfort leading devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor youth
