Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes, provide care, supervision, and guidance for 8–13 students, manage household routines and schedules, administer medications, transport students to activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, supervise budgeting and reporting, and later transition to a Placed Houseparent role with the same group of students. The position requires a two-person, legally married couple (both spouses aged 27+) living on campus, with a nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle initially, comprehensive benefits, relocation support, paid training, and the opportunity to contribute to students’ academic, emotional, and social development within a structured, family-like environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year married status for both spouses
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Ability to lead devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children in residence
