Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person couple) reside in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support to groups of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Initially work nine consecutive days on, then three days off, with eventual placement in a single student home. Benefits include salary per person (approx. $44,768) plus comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance; requires teamwork, strong integrity, ability to lead youth in spiritual activities, and willingness to live on campus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Two-person role for married couples
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- At least two years married (for eligibility)
- Completion of individual employment applications by both spouses
